5 artistes that never forget their hood

It’s quiet unusual for top celebrities to forget where they come from immediately they made it in the industry, but the reverse is the case with the likes of Wizkid to the extent that “Wizkid” dedicates a full track to the people of OJUELEGBA, and OJUELEGBA been evergreen ever since he released that track. Wizkid like every other artists grew up in the ghetto side of Surulere, he took Surulere to the world. And that’s why till date Wizkid feels like a King whenever he steps in Surulere. He has won lot of recognition awards both home and abroad. Wizkid remain a king I stan.

Small doctor grew up in Agege and still resides in Agege, small doctor claims to be Agege to the core, which makes the people of Agege love him more. He believes that the people of Agege took him to the world, they show him more love than anyone else could. Small Doctor could decide to have his residence In lekki or Banana island, but lot of fans still wonder why he choose Agege of all places.

On our third list is Olamide baddo who also happens to be the YBNL boss record label, he also owns VOTS ( Voice of the streets) and many more. Olamide started his musical career with the likes of ID cabasa, and got signed to coded tunes as at then. ENI DURO actually brought Olamide into limelight, and ever since then he’s being dishing out hot jams back to back, Olamide has nine albums to his credit since the beginning of his musical career in the industry, he started life in Bariga, though he might reside on the island but he still have that Bariga’s blood running in his vein
