REASONS TO PROVE THAT OLAMIDE IS HERE TO REVIVE THE MUSIC INDUSTRY

The YBNL boss, Olamide is really trending these days, most especially on twitter. Olamide released his 9th studio album called “999”. Olamide has however tried in as much as possible to clear the people’s doubt about his consistency in the music industry, and ever since Olamide dropped his long awaited EP, lot of fans have been in love with virtually all the tracks on the album.

Recently, the news trending on social media is that Olamide’s record label got signed to Empire music, Empire music is an international record label, and this is one of the biggest surprise Olamide’s fans have been waiting for, at least it’s high time Olamide’s brand needs international recognition.

This could be said to be a matter of his hard work coupled with the fact that he’s being consistent and also the grace of God. Olamide’s deal venture could be seen as something to shame the critics.

So many people said on social media that Olamide paved way for several upcoming artistes in Nigeria, but that’s not even the case. The issue is there’s no late comer in the music industry, when it’s your time, God will surely show you to the world.

Olamide’s signing to Empire music is what I see as “ the patient dog eats the fattest bone”, Olamide really deserves the big endorsement because he has paid his dues. This is also going to be a case of “Fire meets gasoline” because Olamide already is always full of energy and always ready to deliver, now coupled with the fact that he has Fireboy on that record deal, one can only imagine the jam they will produce. This is to show that Nigeria is going global.

Let’s talk about the major things to prove that Olamide has come to change the phase of the Nigeria music industry.

First, let’s consider the fact that he just got a new signing deal with the American distribution company and record label popularly known as Empire, perhaps Olamide’s style of music might change, or he’d rather infuse a bit modern style into his music in a more suitable way.

Secondly, Olamide is about to blend his style of music with the international level for him to become more acceptable.

Thirdly, sometimes ago, Olamide spoke into existence about what’s going to happen to him in 5 years time, but it took more than 5 years, but he eventually achieve his dreams

Another thing to consider is the fact that Olamide is taking Nigerian music to the world, so he needs more courage so he can do more

Lastly, Olamide really have come out to prove some people wrong that he can as well go global and nobody is to be looked down upon in the industry.

DID WIZKID ACTUALLY MEAN TO SAY PRESIDENT MUHAMMED BUHARI IS “CLUELESS”

It’s no news that Wizkid engage himself a lot with the Twitter app, he makes use of it most times just to give update of his recent project and as well to interact with his fans. But that’s not the situation this time around. Wizkid said in a series of tweets yesterday    “Buhari/Trump same person..lol Only difference be say one sabi use Twitter pass the other. Clueless!.  Wizkid believes one can use the twitter, while the other is clueless.  However, the tweets has got some of his fans asking, and they want to be sure who he was actually directing the word “clueless” to.  Much after, he tweets again “God save the world! Save the people  ♥️ ” this is in connection with the recent killings going on around the world. Truly, we need God’s intervention in this world

I created the slang “2 seconds everywhere don burst” not Wizkid, Erigga claims

In a recent interview with OAP Dotun at Cool Fm, the rapper “Erigga” revealed that he is the brain behind the common slang  “2 Seconds everywhere don burst” that is being used in the music industry now. Not wanting to mention Wizkid’s name who used the slang in his new track “ Ghetto Love “, he explained that he was surprised that the singer would boldly use the slang in his song. The rapper also shared little bits about his past hustle, how he made Warri artistes relevant and making figures with their music. Paperboy prefers to make music in Warri and not in Lagos because he doesn’t want to lose his root and his position as the King of the South.
