BETWEEN REMA & FIREBOY, WHO SHOULD BE CONSIDERED THE BEST IN THE INDUSTRY

Fireboy remains one of the most promising act in the entertainment Industry. His LGT (laughter, tears and goosebumps) said it all, Fireboy Dml single handedly drops an amazing album that has thirteen tracks without featuring any artistes on it, and those tracks remains a hit banger ever since he dropped the album, and to cap it all Fireboy’s vibration remains the 13th most played song in Nigeria 6 months after the album dropped

On the other hand, Rema has being compared to Wizkid times without number for possessing the same voice as Wizkid, and for clarification purpose, Dj Tunez featured Wizkid, Rema himself and Reekado Banks last year to record a smash hit single “Turn Up”, Rema’s hook and delivery got peoples attention, people actually mistake his voice for Wizkid. 

Upon that Rema has got million streams for his EP and so far in 2019, Rema’s “Dumebi” is the only hit song so far followed by “lady” “iron man” then the latest one he just released “Beamer”. 

But I think, globally, Rema is actually a bigger artist than Fireboy and any other boy in the industry, Fireboy could be perceived as the king of new school as he’s the younger version of Adekunle Gold. He’s so full of energy and can get emotional at times when it comes to delivery of his music, he has that feel of good music, vibes and has even shone brighter on the YBNL mafia album with I’LL BE FINE, A SLEEPER hit and JEALOUS, which everyone is still jamming till now. 

Since Rema seems to be a new play card by Don Jazzy, and Fireboy Dml happens to be a new play card by Olamide, and over the crop of the new artistes that have really impressed us so far, Rema and Fireboy remains the best at what they do, and they both have good content in terms of delivery. 

On the contrary, I’ll say Fireboy is miles ahead of Rema musically, but when it comes to connection and plug, Rema is better than Fireboy in that aspect, because Rema took Nigerian music international in the space of four months also convert in UK, made Obama’s playlist , then feature Becky G, Russian, 6lack and even drake is planning a collabo with this bunch of talent. In a nutshell it’s only a remarkable thing when youngsters are already recording smash hits at their very first entry in the industry. 

But then, we only have to pick one among the two artistes. Who would you consider been the hottest ?

In a recent interview with OAP Dotun at Cool Fm, the rapper “Erigga” revealed that he is the brain behind the common slang  “2 Seconds everywhere don burst” that is being used in the music industry now. Not wanting to mention Wizkid’s name who used the slang in his new track “ Ghetto Love “, he explained that he was surprised that the singer would boldly use the slang in his song.
